The ASICS Kingston Breakfast Run is a perfect warm-up event for the London Marathon and offer the choice of a 16-mile or an 8.2 mile loop from Kingston's historic marketplace to Hampton Court and back. This is a great opportunity to do an early morning run and then meet your partner afterwards for breakfast before embarking on some endurance shopping! Enter the Breakfast Run for free. Free entrance to the ASICS Kingston Breakfast Run on Sunday 1 April is up for grabs to the first ten people pledging to run on behalf of the Mayor's Charity. This is no April Fools prank - there really are ten free slots available! Free entrance is guaranteed to save each entrant at least £16.00, as well as raising cash for young people in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. With over 3,000 entries last year entry to the ASICS Kingston Breakfast Run is becoming something of a premium. This year the Mayor's Charity is delighted that organisers Human Race have kindly offered free entry to the first ten runners (for either distance) who would like to run to raise money for Young Kingston. Run over two distances (16 miles or 8.2 miles) the ever popular event is recognised by experienced runners as an ideal preparation for the London Marathon, held just three weeks later. The attractive looped course is very flat and follows the river to Hampton Court and loops back via Thames Ditton to Kingston Market Place, where you can celebrate with a well earned breakfast and a marathon round of shopping. Entrance to the event is by application only (no entries on the day) and is open to anyone who can cover the distance and is a great starting point for novices.
Races start from 8.00am.
