Sunday 27^th April 2008 sees the 2^nd year of the SPW Hyde Park Triathlon in association with Speedo. Building on the incredible success of the inaugural event held in 2007 which raised a staggering £34,000, SPW is aiming to make the 2008 event bigger, better and even more fun!

Taking place entirely in Hyde Park, the venue for the 2012 triathlon, the triathlon is open to individuals and teams of three where one person from the team undertakes each leg of the challenge. The triathlon is open to anyone and everyone who wants to take part, whether you're an experienced triathlete or a total beginner, if you enjoy a fun challenge whilst raising moneyto support vital work then this is for you!

The event is being generously sponsored by world-class swim-wear brand Speedo for a second year, meaning that the money you raise can go directly towards supporting SPW's leading work with young people across the world.

Speedo will once again be providing goody bags to all competitors with equipment and exciting money-off vouchers! In addition, Speedo have donated fantastic prizes to the first, second and third placed competitors in all three sections. All competitors will receive a commemorative medal and free and drink voucher!

This innovative event has attracted considerable interest from celebrities and sports personalities alike and has  been officially endorsed by England International Cricketer Paul Collingwood MBE.
