3 Days of Pro/Am surfing competitions and music

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water the Animal British Cup roars back onto the shores of  Tolcarne Beach, Newquay. Taking advantage of the bigger swell later in the year the event will now run from Friday 28^th to Sunday 30^th September 2007, showcasing 3 days of pro/am surf competitions and music.

Sanctioned by the British Surfing Association, the Animal British Cup will be one of a handful of events that will help choose the 2008 British surf team. Competition disciplines include he Men's and Women's Open, Junior, Longboard and bodyboard, with a total prize pool of £4000 to be given away.

Our September event will also host the "The Animal ASA Schools Competition in Association with Carve". Organised by the sixth form students from the Surf Academy at Treviglas, will see up to 15 schools from all over Cornwall and over 150 competitors compete against each other.

The Animal British Cup Weekend will also offer two spectacular nights of music, including the launch party on the Friday night and the Animal Dance Party on Saturday with some very special acts to be confirmed.
