This new endurance event will be held over the hilly training grounds of the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy as part of a weekend of activity that will include the 2nd annual Poppy Hill 10km Trail Race the next morning.

The event is a 4-hour endurance test comprising of an 8km mountain bike route on fast trails through pine forest, followed by 7km run through the broadleaf forest, hills and narrow tracks inside the Poppy Hill Gate - an area of the training grounds protected by English Nature and not usually open to the public.

The target is to complete as many circuits of the bike/run route as possible in the 4 hours allowed. The distance trial will involve multiple laps over a hilly profile.

T-shirt to all competitors, medals to all finishers.
