You need to Log In to submit Content majorsporty – the sports and leisure community is here to help inspire people to get active and to share their passion and experience of sport. We are committed to this and will continue to provide content covering as broader cross section of sport as possible. This will cover as much grass roots sport as possible through to elite athletes, sportsmen and women. We need your help to do this. The majorsporty sports and leisure community allows you to upload and share your stories, images, videos, articles and events with your friends and community. You submit it and we then moderate it and publish it. A selection of content will be used in our monthly sport-e-bulletins as well which are further aimed at promoting active and sporting lifestyles. We do not intend to cause offence with content and consequently we may in some cases not publish content as it is deemed insensitive, offensive or unsuitable. We have tried to think how to convey some guidelines as to what is or isn’t acceptable and think this is difficult to put into detail so instead our rule of thumb is “Would my mum like it?” – This is Richard’s test for content!! Register and Log In To submit content you will need to register and be logged in. Uploading Content We provide you with a simple upload page to complete with details of your content, an space for a short description and the main body of the text. You can make changes to some of the layout although we reserve the right to make changes to keep the site looking consistent. Once you submit the content it is then in a queue for approval. We will try and get content approved quickly. Once published you can then view content and show friends, family and club members your content. It also has a neat feature where it can be converted into a pdf format. Uploading Gallery Images Images for the photo gallery section need to be uploaded in the gallery section. If you have a large number of images from a particular grass roots sport event then you can send us a disk of the images and we will upload them in a batch format. Uploading Videos We convert videos into a sensible format for fast streaming over the net. To facilitate this we have decided it is easy for you to send us your video footage by email at this time. Please send video clips to us @ This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it Again if you have longer video clips or a large volume of clips then why not put them on a disk and send them in. Copyright and Protection of Content Ownership majorsporty is all about supporting grass roots sport. The interactive sporting community is free to use and there is no intention to charge for membership at any time. We do expect that community members act in a fair and honest way and post content that they have permission to use or is readily available in the public domain.
