Tour of Fife Race Series

Introduction

Fife AC invites you to take part in the 7th annual Tour of Fife - a series of 5 races held over mixed terrain on 5 consecutive days from Wednesday to Sunday. This is a unique challenge and the only one of its kind in Scotland.
All proceeds from the Tour of Fife 2007 race series will be donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
 
We welcome runners of all abilities

Entrants can complete the full series or run as many individual races as they wish. Times and positions will be recorded at each race. Runners finishing times are added together to determine the overall series winners. Full results will be available on this website and in the local press.
 
Note

Due to the continuing popularity of the event this event is pre-entry only.
There will be no entries available on the day.
To guarantee a place please enter as early as possible.

The closing date for entries is Monday 30th July 2007.

Venue

Wednesday 1st August 2007, 'Chariots of Fire' Beach Race, St Andrews

Distance - 4 miles

Start  - 7.30pm

Location - West Sands car park (near the British Golf Museum), Bruce   Embankment

Information - Run over the famous West Sands beach used in the opening and closing scenes of the film 'Chariots of Fire'. The route follows an out and back course over mostly firm sand.
